Synaptril Supplement Facts: The Label, Word for Word

Quick answer

Synaptril supplement facts list a serving of 1 capsule, 30 servings a bottle, 80 mg of magnesium (19% DV) from magnesium glycinate and a 575 mg proprietary blend of six lines. Only the magnesium has a printed amount. The label names a distributor in Aurora, Colorado, but no factory and no country of manufacture.

The panel01

What do the Synaptril supplement facts say?

The Synaptril supplement facts panel says one capsule is one serving, a bottle holds 30 servings, and each capsule holds 80 mg of magnesium inside a 575 mg blend.

It then lists the six blend lines in order, two footnotes and the other ingredients. That is all. No single amount appears for the five lines after magnesium.

Tap a number on the panel to read that part in plain words.

Daily Value03

What does 19% DV mean on the Synaptril label?

19% DV means the 80 mg of magnesium covers about a fifth of the 420 mg Daily Value used on US labels. The math is simple: 80 divided by 420 is 0.19.

Your own need depends on age and sex. Adult RDAs run from 310 mg for younger women to 420 mg for men over 30, from all sources together (NIH ODS, Magnesium). Food supplies most of it.

There is also a ceiling. Adults should keep magnesium from supplements and medicines under 350 mg a day, mainly because more can cause diarrhea (NIH ODS, Magnesium). One capsule uses about 23% of that limit, so count any other magnesium product you take.

Symbols04

What do the dagger and asterisks mean on the Synaptril label?

The dagger (†) means no Daily Value exists for the 575 mg blend. The double asterisk points to the footnote that Daily Values assume a 2,000-calorie diet.

The single asterisk does a different job. It sits after each front claim and points to the FDA statement on the side panel.

† Dagger

"Daily Value not established." Blends and most non-vitamin ingredients have no official daily target.

** Double asterisk

"Percent Daily Values are based on a 2,000 calorie diet." It applies to the 19% figure for magnesium.

* Single asterisk

The claims "have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration" (21 CFR 101.93, structure/function claims).

Directions05

What are the Synaptril directions and warnings?

The Synaptril directions are one line: "As a dietary supplement, take one (1) capsule daily." No time of day and no food rule are printed.

The warning adds three limits. Do not take more than the dose. Do not use under 18 or while pregnant or nursing. Ask a physician first if you take a medication or have a medical condition.

Keep taking prescribed medicine on its usual schedule; the label never asks you to change it.

Storage, as printed

"Store this product in a cool dry place below 30°C (86°F)." The label also says to keep the bottle out of reach of children and not to use it if the safety seal is damaged or missing.

A kitchen cupboard away from the stove works. A steamy bathroom or a hot car does not.

Who is named06

Which company is named on the Synaptril label?

The Synaptril label names one company: Gluco Elixir of Aurora, Colorado, as the distributor. Its printed phone and email reach the Synaptril order desk.

The label does not name a manufacturer, a factory or a country of manufacture. It does not mention GMP or an FDA-registered facility either.

  • Printed: Gluco Elixir, Aurora, CO 80011, +1 (323) 348-1373, [email protected]
  • Not printed: maker, factory, country, certifier
  • This website: Mysynaptril, an American Synaptril authorized shop, not the distributor

Edge code07

What is the code on the edge of the Synaptril label?

The code ENB_452_01_062526 that runs up the right edge of the Synaptril label is a printed reference, not a lot number. It is part of the label artwork, so it likely does not change from batch to batch.

The seller gave us two references, lot S-26/MY-6594 and CoA S-6594-26-MY. They are seller references, not lab proof, because no certificate of analysis is published. See how to check a Synaptril lot number.

30 capsules08

How long do Synaptril 30 capsules last?

One bottle of Synaptril 30 capsules lasts 30 days at the label dose of one capsule a day. Two bottles cover 60 days, three cover 90 and six cover 180.

The front reads "30 CAPSULES | DIETARY SUPPLEMENT". As a dietary supplement, it went on sale without FDA review of safety or effect (FDA, Using Dietary Supplements).

Per day, the packs work out to about $2.97, $2.40 or $1.63 (Synaptril sales page). Compare them on Synaptril prices, and read what each line does on the Synaptril ingredients page.

FAQ09

Synaptril label: questions people ask

Why is there no % Daily Value for the Synaptril blend?

Because no Daily Value exists for it. The dagger (†) on the panel says so. Official daily targets cover nutrients such as magnesium, not blends or compounds like alpha-lipoic acid or CoQ10. That is why only the magnesium line shows a percentage, 19%.

Is 80 mg of magnesium a lot?

No, it is a modest amount. 80 mg is 19% of the 420 mg Daily Value and well under the 350 mg limit for magnesium from supplements (NIH ODS, Magnesium). Food supplies most of what adults need. If you take another magnesium product, add the amounts together.

Is ENB_452_01_062526 the Synaptril lot number?

No. That code runs up the edge of the printed label artwork, so it likely stays the same from batch to batch. Look for a lot number or date stamped on your own bottle. The seller's lot reference, S-26/MY-6594, is not lab proof.

Who is Gluco Elixir?

Gluco Elixir is the company the Synaptril label names as distributor, with an Aurora, Colorado 80011 address. Its printed phone, +1 (323) 348-1373, and email, [email protected], reach the Synaptril order desk. The label does not say who manufactures the capsules.

Can I keep Synaptril in the fridge?

The label asks for a cool, dry place below 30°C (86°F) and does not mention a fridge. Fridges can be damp, and capsules do not like moisture, so a closed cupboard away from the stove and shower is the simpler choice. Keep the cap tight.

Is it okay to leave Synaptril in a hot car?

No. A parked car in summer can get far hotter than the 30°C (86°F) the label allows. Heat and moisture can soften capsules and may weaken some ingredients over time. Carry only what you need for the day and keep the bottle at home.

What is the difference between Supplement Facts and Nutrition Facts?

Supplement Facts is the panel format US rules require on dietary supplements (21 CFR 101.36, supplement labeling). It lists the serving, the dietary ingredients and, where one exists, the % Daily Value. Foods use Nutrition Facts instead. Either panel shows what the seller declares, not what a lab measured.
