Is Synaptril Legit? A Fact Check of the Bottle, the Seller and the Claims
Is Synaptril legit? It is a real dietary supplement with a full ingredient list, a named distributor (Gluco Elixir, Aurora, Colorado) and a 60-day money-back guarantee. It is not FDA approved, because the FDA does not approve supplements. The maker is not named, and no trial has tested the capsules, so its memory claims are unproven.

Short verdict01
Is Synaptril legit or a scam?
Synaptril is a legit product in the plain sense: a labeled supplement you can buy, with a distributor, a phone line and a refund policy. It is not proven to do what the front of the bottle says.
Those are two different questions. "Real or fake" asks if the bottle and the seller exist. "Does it work" asks about evidence, and for that the answer is that nobody has tested the capsules.

Who is behind it02
Who makes Synaptril?
The label does not say who makes Synaptril. It names a distributor, Gluco Elixir of Aurora, Colorado, with the phone line +1 (323) 348-1373 and the email [email protected].
A distributor sells and ships a product. It may or may not own the factory. The label prints no factory name, no factory address and no country of manufacture.

On the bottle03
What does the Synaptril label print, and what does it leave out?
The Synaptril label prints every ingredient, the dose, the cautions and the distributor. It leaves out the amounts of five ingredients, the maker, the country and any quality seal.
A proprietary blend only has to give its total weight and its order by weight (21 CFR 101.36, supplement labeling). So the 575 mg blend is legal as printed, but you cannot check how much alpha-lipoic acid or CoQ10 each capsule holds.

Printed
- Magnesium 80 mg (19% DV) and the 575 mg blend
- All six blend lines in order
- One capsule a day; not under 18, pregnant or nursing
- Distributor name, phone and email
Not printed
- Amounts for five of six lines
- Manufacturer, factory or country
- GMP or FDA-registered facility
- A lot number in plain form
FDA status04
Is Synaptril FDA approved?
No, Synaptril is not FDA approved, and no dietary supplement is. The FDA is not allowed to approve supplements for safety or effectiveness before they go on sale (FDA, Using Dietary Supplements).
That is why the label carries the standard statement that its claims have not been evaluated by the FDA. The statement is required for structure/function wording such as "Advanced Brain Support" (21 CFR 101.93, structure/function claims).
The brand also uses a "Registered FDA facility" badge. The label does not mention a registered facility, and registration is a listing, not approval. Our testing and quality page explains each badge.
What a badge can and cannot tell you
A badge is a claim by the seller. It names no lab, certifier or audit date. Treat it as marketing until a document backs it up.

Fact check05
Do the Synaptril claims hold up to a fact check?
The Synaptril claims do not hold up as proven benefits. They are lawful structure/function wording, but no trial of the capsules exists, and the ingredient research is small, mixed or about other forms.
Memory claims draw legal attention. In December 2024 a federal court ordered the maker of Prevagen to stop claims the FTC said misled people worried about memory loss (FTC statement on Prevagen ruling).
- Label front“Advanced Brain Support*”Structure/function wording, allowed with the FDA asterisk statement. It is not a disease claim, and FDA did not review it. (21 CFR 101.93, structure/function claims)
- Label front“Enhances Memory & Focus*”No trial of Synaptril was found. The Global Council on Brain Health could endorse no brain supplement ingredient or product. (GCBH/AARP 2019, brain supplements) (NCCIH, supplements for cognitive function)
- Label front“Boosts Mental Energy*”The label lists no caffeine or stimulant. CoQ10 helps cells make energy, but trials in brain diseases found no cognitive benefit. (Linus Pauling Institute, Coenzyme Q10) (NCCIH, Coenzyme Q10)
- Blend line 1Magnesium glycinate, 80 mg of magnesiumAbout a fifth of the adult RDA. No memory trial of magnesium was found; a small review saw faster sleep onset in older adults. (NIH ODS, Magnesium) (Mah & Pitre 2021, magnesium and sleep)
- Blend line 4L-carnitineThe memory studies used acetyl-L-carnitine at 1.5-3 g a day, a different form, and a Cochrane review found no routine benefit. (NIH ODS, Carnitine) (Cochrane, acetyl-L-carnitine for dementia)
- Blend line 5Turmeric extract, 95% curcuminoidsThe one positive memory pilot used Theracurmin, a high-absorption form, at 180 mg of curcumin a day. Plain curcumin is poorly absorbed. (Small et al. 2018, curcumin and memory) (NCCIH, Turmeric)
- Sales page“100% Satisfaction or Your Money Back”A 60-day money-back guarantee from purchase. Every bottle must come back, and return postage is not refunded. (Synaptril sales page)
Claims as printed on the label and the sales page (Synaptril sales page). Health claims need competent and reliable scientific evidence, generally human trials of the same product (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance).

Are "Synaptril reviews exposed" articles real?
Most "Synaptril reviews exposed" articles are paid advertising, not investigations. Web searches turn up press releases and review-style posts on newswire and blog-hosting sites, often with order links that pay the writer.
A press release can be bought by anyone. Being published on a news wire does not mean a reporter checked it. If an article promises a "shocking truth" and ends with a discount link, read it as an ad.
Real buyer reviews of Synaptril are also hard to find. We have none verified yet; see how we check Synaptril reviews.
Fake sites07
How can you spot a fake Synaptril website?
You can spot a fake Synaptril website by checking its prices, its checkout and its contact details against the real ones. A copycat site often gets at least one of them wrong.
The sales page sells 2 bottles for $178, 3 for $216 and 6 for $294, and checkout runs on BuyGoods (Synaptril sales page). Order help comes from +1 (323) 348-1373 and [email protected].
- Prices far below $49 a bottle, or a "free bottle" that only needs shipping
- A checkout that asks for a bank transfer, gift card or crypto
- No phone number, or a number that does not match the label
- Claims to cure or reverse memory loss, which no supplement may lawfully make
- Bottles with a broken or missing safety seal
After delivery, compare your bottle with our batch and seal check.
BBB08
Does Synaptril have a BBB rating?
We did not find or verify a Better Business Bureau profile for Synaptril or its distributor. That does not prove one is missing; it means we cannot confirm one, so we show no BBB rating.
Many supplement brands have no BBB listing, and a listing alone does not prove a product works. To check yourself, search the BBB site for "Gluco Elixir" in Aurora, Colorado, and read any complaints and replies.
A complaint about an order should go first to the order desk at +1 (323) 348-1373. It can see orders and handle refunds under the 60-day guarantee.
FAQ09
Synaptril scam questions, answered
Is Synaptril a scam?
It is a real product with a label, a distributor and a refund policy, so it is not a scam in the sense of a bottle that never ships. The weak spots are the hidden amounts, the unnamed maker and memory claims no trial of the capsules supports.
Who owns the Synaptril brand?
The distributor on the label is Gluco Elixir of Aurora, Colorado. It does not name the brand owner, the maker or the factory. We do not guess at them, and we would add them only if the label or a document showed them.
Is Synaptril real or fake when it arrives?
A real bottle is white with a blue pixel-brain icon, 30 capsules and an intact safety seal. The label lists the distributor and the code ENB_452_01_062526 on its right edge. Do not use a bottle with a damaged or missing seal.
Why is there no BBB rating for Synaptril here?
Because we did not find or verify a BBB profile for the brand or its distributor. We will not print a rating we cannot confirm. You can search the BBB site for the distributor yourself and read any listed complaints.
Can the FDA pull a supplement like Synaptril?
Yes. The FDA can act against supplements that are unsafe or make illegal disease claims, and it has sent warning letters to sellers of products claiming to treat Alzheimer's (FDA, Unproven Alzheimer's Products). It does not review supplements before they are sold.
How do I avoid fake Synaptril sellers?
Order through the official checkout, which runs on BuyGoods, and compare the prices with the sales page. Skip marketplace listings with odd prices, and report a bottle with a broken seal to the order desk before you take a capsule.
Is the Synaptril money-back guarantee real?
The sales page offers 60 days from purchase. You call or email first for return instructions, send back every bottle, empty or not, and pay the return postage yourself. The refund goes to the original payment method.
