How Many Synaptril a Day: Why the Label Stops at One Capsule
How many Synaptril a day: one capsule. The label says to take one (1) capsule daily and not to exceed the recommended dose. One capsule holds 80 mg of magnesium in a 575 mg blend. No study supports a higher dose, and five of the six blend amounts are not printed, so extra capsules are a guess.

The dose01
How many Synaptril should you take a day?
Take one Synaptril capsule a day. That is the only amount the label gives: "As a dietary supplement, take one (1) capsule daily." The warning adds, "Do not exceed recommended dose."
A bottle has 30 capsules, so one a day lasts 30 days. The label sets no loading phase, no ramp-up and no higher dose for stubborn days.
The label also gives no separate dose for body weight, age above 18 or the time of day. Everyone who may use the product takes the same single capsule, so one capsule is a one-size dose.
Because the label is the only dose guide, we do not suggest more or fewer. Our Synaptril dosage page covers the routine in full.
The math02
What happens if you take two Synaptril a day?
Taking two capsules doubles everything at once: 160 mg of magnesium and 1,150 mg of blend. It also goes past the label limit. No trial tests a double dose of this product.
Start with magnesium, the one amount we can see. The supplement upper limit for adults is 350 mg a day, and amounts above that can cause diarrhea (NIH ODS, Magnesium). Two capsules give 160 mg, which is under that line, but it also counts toward magnesium from other products you take.
The bigger problem is the unknown. We cannot see how much turmeric, alpha-lipoic acid or CoQ10 sits in a capsule, so we cannot say what doubling adds. A guess about a hidden number is not a safe base for a decision.
| Item | 1 capsule (label dose) | 2 capsules (over the label) |
|---|---|---|
| Magnesium | 80 mg | 160 mg |
| Proprietary blend | 575 mg | 1,150 mg |
| Bottle lasts | 30 days | 15 days |
| Matches the label? | Yes | No |
Why not more03
Does a higher dose of the ingredients work better?
No evidence says so. Several ingredients have been studied, but at doses and in forms that differ from this label, and the results are mixed or weak.
L-carnitine at about 3 g a day causes nausea, diarrhea and a fishy odor (NIH ODS, Carnitine). Turmeric extracts have been linked to rare liver injury, which is why the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health urges caution (NCCIH, Turmeric). More is not a safe way to chase a result.
The studied doses are far from what one capsule can hold, since the whole blend weighs 575 mg. Our ingredient guide shows each line against its studied dose.

Can you take fewer than one Synaptril a day?
You can, but the label does not describe it. A half dose is not a labeled option, and the capsules are not made to be split. If one a day does not suit you, ask your physician before changing the plan.
If you miss a day, take the next capsule at the usual time. Do not take two to catch up. Take prescribed medicine as directed, and leave it unchanged when you add a supplement.
The label bars use under age 18 and during pregnancy or nursing. It also says to consult a physician if you take a medication or have a medical condition.

How many bottles do you need for one capsule a day?
One bottle covers 30 days, two cover 60 and three cover 90. For a six-month run you would need six bottles.
The sales page prices 2 bottles at $89 each, 3 at $72 each and 6 at $49 each (Synaptril sales page). Your 60-day money-back guarantee window is the same whichever pack you pick, so you can review your own notes before it ends.

FAQ06
Synaptril daily amount questions, answered
Is one Synaptril capsule enough?
One capsule is all the label allows. Whether it is enough to notice anything is unknown, since no trial of Synaptril exists. Track your own habits for 60 days and use the guarantee window to decide.
Can I take Synaptril twice a day?
No. The label says one capsule daily and not to exceed the recommended dose. A second capsule doubles the magnesium and every blend line, and no study supports that for this product.
How many Synaptril capsules can a child or teen take?
None. The label says it is not for anyone under 18. Ask a pediatrician about memory or focus concerns in a young person instead of using this product.
How many Synaptril do I need for a month?
You need one bottle, which holds 30 capsules. At one a day that is exactly 30 days. Buy a second bottle before the first runs out if you want an unbroken routine.
